Labor Day Weekend 2002 in Chicago

A high point of the weekend was our visit to the Chihuly exhibit at the Garfield Park Conservatory with Macaira. The ornately domed building in the first photo is not actually the conservatory, but an administrative building of sorts,
shown from across the lake in the park.

The first here is our dinner with Macaira and Shannon (who is nearly hiding) on Saturday night at the Tavern on Rush. Following are a few from a city boat tour on Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately there is a dearth of photos from the rest of the weekend's activities, including those with our fun and hospitable friends Kevin and Bea who put us up for the weekend.
