Phish, 8/14-15/04, Coventry Festival, Coventry, VT

Henrietta takes the stage.

Sunset to my left.

Down with Disease brought out the glowsticks.

It was a lot of glowsticks. It wasn't as many as IT though.

The crowd dug it. The stage setup looked a little bit like when Christo wrapped the Reichstag. No? Okay, nevermind.

This has all been wonderful...

Hearing Page break down during Velvet Sea was nothing short of heartwrenching. You certainly won't find these moments in a box.

Notice the huge sign someone was waving down front that blocked my view of Trey for the entire third set. Grrr...

Piper has been my favorite jammed-out song since hiatus, so I was psyched to hear the very last one. It was a doozy, too.

During the jam, someone whipped out the bright yellow ones. I support these, because they are easier to take pictures of.

I mean they're really bright.

Sure, Phish is done. What I want to know is, where am I gonna get my Kuroda fix?

Please me, have no regrets. When it was all over we stood there in silence, lighters aloft, trying to hold on to that feeling for as long as possible. Then, numb and exhausted, we followed the lines going south...

Thank you Phish. You will be missed dearly.
