Mike Gordon w/ Kaki King, 10/8/03, Fox Theater, Boulder, CO

These are from the second night of a two-night stand at the Fox. FANTASTIC SHOWS. Most of these pictures have been curve-adjusted using the GIMP. I'll try to go chronologically...

Here's me (middle) with Jed aka Kyndkyd (left) and Bryan aka Navin R. Johnson (right), hanging out before the show. The shot was taken by Jed's girlfriend Becky. I don't know what the heck I'm pointing at.



Kaki King opened; she's a very interesting guitarist who does lots of unorthodox tapping and banging on the body of the guitar and such. She plays one of those funky Ovations with the little soundholes. Sorry about the blurriness, it was a bit dark during her set, and I hadn't figured out how to underexpose yet...



Here you can see her doing some weird percussive stuff.



Yeah, she's not too hard on the eyes either.



Then Mike's band came on. They proceeded to rock. With slide whistles.
