Thomas Atkinson,Sr; was born in England.He went to Ireland to engage inthe manufacture of cloth.His son,Thomas came to Washington Co,Pa,where hedied in 1784. His son,Thomas III ,married Mary Ann,daughter of WilliamCraycraft of Uniontown,Pa.
