William Atkinson Elliott

Gave patriotic duty in Rev War in Maryland. Lived in Washington Co.Pa.& was on 1781 tax list. Issued land grant 12-11-1811 and he named it" Elliotts Repose". William and Elizabeth buried in family cemetery. The old home and cemetery are about 4 miles west and south of the town of Prosperity Pa.

William Elliott was a Patriot in the Revolutionary War. He took the oath of Fidelity & support to the State of Maryland in Ann Arundel Co, in 1778.
