He was 6 months old when parents moved to Ohio. After his marriage to Sarah, he moved his family to IA, moved back to OH the following year, then moved to MO 13 Apr 1864. He sold his land holdings in OH to Thomas Robinson for $1,700 on that date.

In the 1880 MO census, Dallas twp, a Nancy Booker, b. 1861 IA, was living with this family as a ÒcookÓ.In 1880, John, Sarah, and John Richard Hunt were living in Dallas twp, as was Henry, Sarah E. and Mary A. Hunt.
Thomas HuntÕs death certificate #30062 MO states the place of burial as Kidwell Cem. However, no record at that cem. has been found for him or Mary. The two young boys are buried there.
